Colombia suma 14 artistas entre los finalistas de los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina 2026 

Karol G lidera la representación nacional con nueve menciones, seguida por Shakira y Beéle. La premiación se realizará el 22 de octubre en Miami 

Billboard y Telemundo dieron a conocer este 9 de septiembre la lista de finalistas de los Premios Billboard  de la Música Latina 2026, y Colombia vuelve a tener una presencia sólida en el conteo: 14 artistas del país aparecen entre los nominados, encabezados por Karol G.  

La paisa suma nueve nominaciones, la cifra más alta entre los artistas del país y la más alta entre todas las mujeres de la premiación en general. Compite en categorías como Artista del Año, Gira del Año, Global 200 Artista Latino del Año y Artista «Latin Rhythm» del Año, Solista, además de su tema «Coleccionando Heridas» junto a Marco Antonio Solís, postulado en «Latin Airplay» Canción del Año y Canción «Latin Pop» del Año. 

Detrás de ella, Shakira y Beéle empatan con cinco menciones cada uno, ubicándose entre los artistas con más nominaciones a nivel general de toda la premiación. Kali Uchis y W Sound (WestCOL, Ovy On The Drums) suman tres nominaciones cada uno. 

Kapo es finalista en dos categorías, mientras que Maluma, J Balvin, Ryan Castro, Feid, Morat, Carlos Vives, Fonseca y Grupo Niche son finalistas en una categoría, evidenciando que la presencia del país no se limita a las nuevas generaciones del género urbano, sino que también incluye a referentes de la salsa, el pop y el vallenato. 

A nivel global, el mexicano Peso Pluma encabeza la lista total de finalistas con 17 menciones, seguido por Tito Double P (15) y Fuerza Regida (12). Bad Bunny y Prince Royce completan el grupo de artistas con presencia en categorías principales, con siete y ocho menciones respectivamente.  

Este año, además, se estrena la categoría Artista de los Fans, votada exclusivamente por el público en Telemundo.com/VOTA hasta el día de la ceremonia, y en la que compiten los cinco artistas con más nominaciones: Peso Pluma, Tito Double P, Fuerza Regida, y Prince Royce  

Los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina destacan a los artistas según el desempeño en las listas semanales de Billboard entre el 13 de septiembre de 2025 y el 5 de septiembre de 2026, con base en streaming, ventas, radio y giras, de acuerdo con datos de Billboard y Luminate. 

La premiación se realizará en vivo el 22 de octubre a las 8 p.m. ET/7c desde el James L. Knight Center de Miami, con transmisión por Telemundo, Peacock y Universo.

Los finalistas y los eventuales ganadores reflejan el desempeño de las nuevas grabaciones en  las listas de álbumes y canciones de Billboard durante el periodo que abarca las listas del 13 de  septiembre, 2025, hasta las listas del 5 de septiembre, 2026. Las determinaciones se basan en  interacciones clave de los fans con la música, incluyendo reproducciones, ventas digitales de álbumes y  canciones, transmisión radial y giras, rastreados por Billboard y su socio de datos, Luminate. 

The Billboard Latin Music Awards, which will broadcast LIVE on Telemundo and Peacock on October 22 at 8pm/7c, is the only awards show to honor the most popular albums, songs and performers in Latin  music as determined by Billboard’s renowned weekly charts. Finalists, and the eventual winners, reflect  performance of new recordings on Billboard’s albums and songs charts for the period covering rankings  dated September 13, 2025, through the September 5, 2026, charts. Determinations are based on key fan  interactions with music, including streaming, album and digital song sales, radio airplay and touring,  tracked by Billboard and its data partner, Luminate.
